"The goal of the garden is to empower people to gain access to fresh local organic produce. In addition, the garden works as a social outlet for many developmentally disabled and recovering adults. A large focus of volunteering will be on engaging with clients of each partnered organization. In the garden, CSUMB Service Learners and community volunteers spend time assisting clients of partnered nonprofits through garden work and directed garden activities. The garden activities will consist of some but not all composting, planting, harvesting. Be prepared to get dirty and participate in physical activities." More information HERE
